Video production

Commercial film and photography across Dorset and Hampshire — planned around your content calendar, directed on the day, edited in-house.
Start a conversation →The approach
One shoot, planned well, should feed your channels for months.
The expensive way to make content is reactively — booking a shoot whenever the cupboard is bare, starting from scratch each time, paying setup costs again and again for three usable assets.
We plan shoots around the content calendar rather than the other way round. That means every day on set is scoped to produce a hero piece plus the cutdowns, stills, behind-the-scenes and offcuts that keep the channels fed for the following months. Same day rate, several times the output.
It also means the footage matches. A fixed lighting and framing standard across shoots is the difference between a feed that looks like one brand and a feed that looks like a shared folder.

How a shoot runs
Four stages, agreed before anyone picks up a camera.
-
Concept
Treatment, shot list and schedule. You know exactly what's being made before the day.
-
Shoot
Directed on site. We keep it calm and quick — most businesses can't stop trading for a film crew.
-
Edit
Cut, graded and sound-mixed in-house, with one round of revisions built into the price.
-
Deliver
Every ratio and format you need, plus the raw files. You keep everything.
Locally
Travel costs are a real part of a small production budget.
We're based in the area and shoot across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, the New Forest and throughout Dorset and Hampshire. For local clients that means no travel loading, no overnight costs, and a half-day shoot that stays a half-day shoot.
It also makes small, frequent shoots viable — a couple of hours every few weeks rather than one enormous production a year. For most businesses that rhythm produces far better content, and it's only affordable when the studio is nearby.

FAQ
How much does a shoot cost?
Quoted per project — a half-day product shoot and a multi-location brand film aren't comparable. Every quote is fixed and agreed in writing, covering planning, the day and the edit.
How long until we get the films?
Usually two to three weeks from shoot to final delivery, including one round of revisions. Social cutdowns come first since they're most time-sensitive.
Do we get the raw footage?
Yes. Raw files and originals, not just exported crops. It's your business and your footage.
Can one shoot cover several months of content?
That's exactly how we scope them, and it's the single biggest saving available on a small content budget.
Do you work with our existing brand guidelines?
Yes, and if you don't have any we'll set a consistent standard as part of content strategy.
